Every project that LivingFunky accepts commences with one of our Working Site Consultations for up to 2hours, which is a productive meeting where we work in partnership with you to establish and review your Needs and Requirements. 

We designed our proven and successful process as there is a huge issue with people starting design, refurbishment or build projects BEFORE they have fully done their homework.  This causes projects to go over on time and over on budget.  

After your Consultation you will receive a Personalised Action Plan Report which will tell you what to do,  so you can eliminate potentially costly assumptions and possible mistakes before you hire a design or build team.  Our Action Plan is designed to help you understand where to start and ensure things are done correctly from the beginning, before you start your works.

Our Consultations fall into two Categories, either Structural Architectural Design and Build or Interior Specification, Space Planning and Design.

A Site Consultation maybe all that you need if you are looking for Interior Specification, Space Planning and Scope of Works Guidance, as your Personalised Action Plan will answer your questions.

.Depending on your requirements, prior to our site visit we may:

1. Research and locate existing floor plans of your home or a similar neighbouring property.
2. Confirm whether your project will fall under planning or permitted development (we have the answe to this).
3. Determine the best possible design ideas / layout for your growing family.

During our visit we may:

1. Survey your intended area for the works
2. Discuss Estimated Budgets and expectations
3. Based on your Budget we can suggest, through our experience ways to add maximum potential value/equity to your property through design ideas
4. We can discuss any formalities required for your project (planning, permitted development, party wall, structural requirements)
5. After your Consultation you will receive a Personalised Action Plan Report, designed to move you forward each step of the way, with Confidence.  This ensures you never have to doubt yourself or your decisions during your project.

Once you have scheduled your Consultation below, you will see a link to our online 40 question questionnaire for you to fill in and submit to us.  Your answered questionnaire along with your Site Consultation gives us the information required for us to understand your lifestyle and vision for your home.  It also puts us in a better position to guide you with which Structural Architectural Design Package or which Interior Specification Design Package, is best suited for your Needs and Requirements.

Depending on your needs, we have 3 Architectural Services which cover a range of options depending on your needs and requirements.

Once the Design Concepts and outline budgets are agreed, we will produce final Plans and Drawings, for planning permission or permitted development.

We will also produce all Building Regulation Drawings to ensure your project is Safe, Complient and Signed of by Building Control.
